Hi, friend.
We want to highlight and welcome new members in our FAST community by recounting their school journey. Once established within our community and their names become known, they can be removed from this page ... making room for new friends to be added ... just like the new students in class.

Thanks to my family and to many known and unknown citizens, my schools in Wichita [all except one within walking distance of home] were Fabrique Elementary, Christopher Rankin, Prairie Day, Independent Day and Wichita Collegiate from which I went to the University of the South and finally the University of Chicago. After marrying Nancy [with her own school history in California public schools and universities], we homeschooled our kids as students in The Master's Yoke until 6th grade when they attended The Learning Alternative which became Northfield School of the Liberal Arts... after which they attended colleges from the Carolinas to California. We stay involved in schools as grandparents who cannot always help our own now-widely-dispersed family members but who can still "pay it forward" for others around us here in Wichita and abroad from India to Africa ... in hopes that others will do that for our family in the future.
How about you? If you wish to join our work at FAST, just let us know using the email link to this blog and we will contact you. Bob
